Financial Therapy

The dollars and cents of financial wellbeing matter, but financial wellness requires more than knowing about income, debt, net worth, credit scores, and emergency funds.

Financial wellness is recognizing money as a source of empowerment which maximizes physical, mental and emotional health. I am not here to tell you what to do with your money. I am here to work through your money history, emotions around money, and specific situation so you feel empowered and confident in making the best decisions for yourself and those you love.

For Individuals

No matter your stage in life, it is vital to have a healthy personal relationship with money. Most people do not feel comfortable discussing money, but it is a huge part of our lives. The driving force behind my practice is to help individuals heal from financial trauma and process their own money histories to positively impact decisions and behavior. I am passionate about reducing depression and anxiety around money and wealth. As clients experience the personal and financial growth that accompanies improved financial circumstances, they are able to expand their coping skills in all areas of their lives.

How do you manage your money as a couple? Who decides this?
Money is a common reason for arguments within a couple. It is typical for one person in a couple to make money decisions or be “in charge” with money.

Create money goals, practice consistency.

For parents and families

Our financial experiences with money impact so many aspects of life, including how we raise our children.

I stand for raising motivated children who have a positive relationship with money. A driving force behind my practice is to help individuals heal from financial trauma and process money histories so they can make good money decisions for themselves and teach their children healthy money habits.
If you are parenting with a partner, this will build upon my work with couples and I will asses whether or not we should start there.
